You don’t have to keep carrying the armor

You don’t have to keep carrying the armor - quote by Shashi Pallava, Life, Relationship & Mindset Coach

Fear can protect you from getting hurt — and also protect you from being truly alive.

Jo deewar aapne kabhi khud ko bachane ke liye banayi thi, wo galat nahi thi. Us waqt shayad wahi sahi tha — kisi pe zyada bharosa na karna, sab kuch akele sambhalna, har baat pehle se soch lena.

Lekin jo cheez past mein aapko protect karti thi, wahi aaj aapko rok bhi sakti hai. Armor chot se bachata hai — par kisi ko aapke kareeb bhi nahi aane deta.

Healing ka matlab armor phenk dena nahi hai. Healing hai ye pehchanna ki kab use utaarna safe hai — aur kis ke saamne.

Ye thought pehle Instagram par share hua tha.

Try this today

  1. List the rules you made to stay safe – never ask for help, always stay in control.
  2. Ask of each one: is this still protecting me, or only keeping people out?
  3. Lower one piece of armor with one safe person this week.

Questions women often ask

How do I know if I’m emotionally guarded?

Common signs are finding it hard to ask for help, expecting to be let down, and feeling safer handling everything alone. None of these are flaws – they are old protection that may have outlived its job.

How do you start healing from past hurt?

Start by recognising what your defences once did for you, with gratitude rather than blame. Healing is learning when it is safe to let go – at your own pace.
