A boundary is not a punishment

A boundary is not a punishment - quote by Shashi Pallava, Life, Relationship & Mindset Coach

It is a doorway that tells people how to love you well.

Bahut si women ke liye boundary ka matlab hota hai jhagda. Isliye wo boundary banati hi nahi — sochti hain ki rishta bigad jayega.

Par boundary rishta todti nahi. Wo batati hai ki rishta kaise chal sakta hai. “Mujhe raat 10 baje ke baad kaam ki baat nahi karni” — ye dushmani nahi hai. Ye ek darwaza hai jispar likha hai ki andar kaise aana hai.

Jo log aapse sach mein pyaar karte hain, unke liye ye raahat hoti hai. Unhe andaza lagana band karna padta hai.

Agar ye aapki baat lag rahi hai, ek free demo session par baat karte hain — WhatsApp par message kijiye.

Try this today

  1. Pick one situation that keeps draining you – a call, a request, a habit.
  2. Say your boundary in one calm sentence, without a long explanation: “Main 9 baje ke baad calls nahi le paungi.”
  3. Then act on it the same way every time. Your “no” becomes real when your actions match it.

Questions women often ask

Is setting a boundary selfish?

No. A boundary tells people what you can give and what you cannot. It protects the relationship from quiet resentment, which does far more damage than an honest “no”.

What if people get upset when I set a boundary?

Some will, at first – especially those who benefited from you having none. Stay kind and stay consistent. Their discomfort is not proof that you were wrong.
